The Brothers Wheeler have been playing records ever since they were able to reach a turntable. Theirs is a fabrication of organic and electronic, using a combination of turntables, samplers, and a laptop to create an endlessly varied sonic recombination of the last seven decades of recorded music. Notorious for their use of eclectic and obscure electronic and dance music, Todd and Dan Wheeler, actual brothers from upstate N.Y., also add bits of Tibetan chant, European chamber music, old school hip-hop, Indian classical music, television and radio dialogue, jazz, and other unlikely sounds from all over the world. They pride themselves on skillfully and creatively integrating classic analog gear with the latest digital DJ technology in their multi-media composites and they respectfully remind you that "technology is evolution in continuation".

The brothers' cut n' paste DJ style evolved during their high school years, with both taking a slightly different route to the same destination. During his college years in Buffalo NY, Dan was DJing house music locally, which eventually led to headlining private upscale parties in New York City. He has since used his computer engineering background to present music with a technical outlook incorporating his expertise with the most up-to-date workstation software and hardware with visual graphics and audio to further obscure the line between DJing and multimedia performance art.. Todd started out making old school mixtapes in junior high and then went on to DJ and make beats for several New York rap artists. He also wrote songs and programmed and sequenced drum tracks for recording artists BLIND MAN'S SUN and NUCLEAR JACKSON FLASH and currently produces tracks and DJs for celebrated reggae artist D.A. JAY and the STEPPA HEAD CREW. The Brothers Wheeler are currently working on an album of original material. They have a bi-year residency at the Tropical Lounge in West Palm Beach, Florida, and a semi-monthly residency at Red Square in Albany
