Sekt has been Djing since the age of 14 and started producing at 18, with influences coming mostly from jungle music in the mid 90's, artist such as goldie, seba and parodox, Big bud and LTJ Bukem featured heavily in his DJ sets and their music inspired him to create a more modern sound of jungle. His first productions started out on the liquid tip with huge influences from artists like calibre and marcus intalex and lables such as creative source and soul:r, but as his production skills progressed, he started to concentrate on using old funk breaks to create complex jungle rythms. The sound of sekt is definately a new, unique and fresh sound and one to look out for in the future. For now, sekt is working on an album, which aims to hit both dancefloors and stereo's.
