Rob's interest in the dance music scene developed in the early nineties just after the early acid house explosion.For the next several years Rob would become a regular clubber at renaissance and later on gatecrasher and cream.Rob was overawed by the atmosphere and sense of unity that the clubscene embraced and particularly the way that the dj's could totally enchant a crowd.With this in mind Rob decided to get himself a pair of 1210's and set about the arduous task of developing his skills on the wheels of steel.Rob began playing in backrooms of pubs and at friend's parties and as his confidence grew his ambitions to go on to do bigger thing grew.At this stage Rob was embracing progressive house after being blown away by the likes of sasha & digweed in the mid to late nineties,this was to lead him on to gaining a monthly residency at Progressive a night held at the multimedia mill in Bradford.Longing to get his sound out there more so led to a night being formed in the name of thankless nights.This was a collaboration of likeminded dj's from Leeds who enthused about promoting a unique sounding experience with the events held in both Hereford and Leeds. Rob also began to spend an huge amount of time on the magical white isle of Ibiza.It was here that Rob would play anything from deep and soulful house to a more underground sound playing across the island and warming up for the likes of Mauro Picotto and gaining residencies at itaca,viper,savannahs and sofa king good to name but a few along the way.Rob also fulfilled his ambition to play the terrace at Space,after being booked to play for the saturday morning sesssion,Matinee. Now back in the uk for the short forseeable having just returned from Ibiza, Rob has been getting to grips with the production side of things and is busy working on projects,he is also looking to start promoting a night again in Leeds so it looks as if Rob will be a busybee for a while.
