To all you who don't know us, we are The Insurgents, a London based electro/alternative DJ/production act. Regular on the DJ circuit for the past couple of years we have secured past residencies at clubs the calibre of The (Big Beat) Boutique and Electric Stew as well as the lesser known, yet iconic, Dovebridge Studios. We now currently reside at the weekly Retox and monthly Playground as well as promoting our Synth Nymph parties (re-launching 6th May). And this year alone have guest DJ'd at a diverse range of nights - Chew The Fat (breakbeat), Steve Angello's Size (house) Transmissions (indie), Mulletover (minimal house) and Touche's Bodyclap (electro). Our own productions have been a long time coming and will be officially released sometime later this year - phew!

Influences: DFA Records, Gomma, Bloc Party, Erol Alkan, Soulwax, the French who do it so much better - Daft Punk, Justice, Kitsune records etc, Digitilism, Gorillaz, Felix Da Housecat, Cut Copy, Modular, Friendly, DJ Shadow, Paul Epworth, Simian Mobile Disco, 20/20 Vision Records, Bugged Out, Stuart Price, Touche (more tricks than any DJ we know).
