His second release as ‘Jay Rodriguez’ like his first has been engineered by En:Vision Recordings boss Glen ‘Future Funk Squad’ Nicholls and features vocals from Andrea Britton.
‘Give It Up’ charted in the Top 10 for the DJ mag Breaks & Beats chart and also received Radio 1 airplay from Judge Jules four weeks running. This has lead to Jay doing a breaks remix of a forthcoming Judge Jules release under his ‘Darkside’ alias.
As a DJ his style is to mix both breaks and house with a preference for the dark and dirty that will get the crowd moving! His passion for both styles of music makes him a versatile DJ that can play just breaks, just house or a blend of the two.
