DJ Laurent

DJ Laurent is a 17 year old passionate DJ from the Netherlands. He lives in a place called Zeist , which is close to the big city Utrecht.

DJ Laurent started with mixing music when he was around 13 / 14 years old. It didn't sounded really good though. He only released 2-4 mixes a year in that time. From age 16 , DJ Laurent has taken mixing far more seriously. He started making mixes every month , and at the end of the year he started with a yearmix. He didn't really knew his style yet , but after hearing some trance tunes from Armin van Buuren and Tiesto , he knew that he wanted to be a trance DJ.

Halfway his 16th year , DJ Lauernt went on the radio. It was a internet station called Favorite FM. There he spinned the newest trance in a one hour non stop mix. However , he had fun there , but thought he didn't really fitted in the way Favorite FM went.

Luckily , just 2 weeks after his resignment of Favorite FM , a new online dance station opened his way to the public : Track FM. The owner of the station really liked the tunes that were spinned by DJ Laurent , so he asked him to join his station.

DJ Laurent then accepted the inventation. He thought that the station fitted his style really good. So a arrangement was made with the owner. They decided that DJ Laurent spins his trance tunes once a week , every sunday from 22:00-23:00.

Just 2 weeks after he joined Track FM , another trance station asked for his mixes. It was called Digitalnights. Another arrangement was made , and there they decided that DJ Laurent will spin his mixes every 2nd and 4th monday of the month , from 21:00-22:00.

Nowadays , he is working hard to get the mixes done every week. He finds inspiration in the positive comments he gets from listeners.
