In an industry that is male oriented and pioneered,nationally and locally, La Tonya D "The humble Diva" has entered the Atlanta club scene to add a dose of femininity and sensuality behind the music. An avid love for music and dance of all genres and cultures led to her interest in djing and producing. Music was fundamental in every aspect of her life growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area and she now seeks to ensure that the music she plays and produces is ingrained into the souls of those who hear it.
La TonyaD's sets are how she wants the crowd to see life at that moment, inviting the dancers to respond in that they understand what she's trying to tell them through dance.
A former resident at the clubs Trinity and Nomenclature she is now the house dj for Apache Cafe's Art Mondays, and resident at The Mark, and The Compound. In addition to producing tracks, she is also in the process of establishing a network for Atlanta female djs.
