Mixes (2)
"Natural Performer" is the term used to describe this musical act. Born originally in Winnipeg, Canada, Kraeden had a strong connection with music as a kid. Growing up in the late eighties, Kraeden had overcome a ton of medical attention due to heart complications he had at birth, and spent alot of his time in the hospital, recovering from various operations which were performed in order for him to survive.
Picking up a piano-keyboard at the age of 11, was his first experience of music that would later give him power to move further into the music industry. By 1998, he gave up his keyboard for a set of turntables and a dj mixer. This is where his real education began. After dropping out of high school, Kraeden felt that he had to be doing something productive if he wasn't going to attend school.
"He loved music and he was very creative" said Glen Monkman Sr., grandfather of DJ Kraeden, who had supported his dream from the very beginning. In 2005, Kraeden recieved his first paid gig at a gathering of nations social in Orlando, Florida, where the audience later praised him as a "talented individual". After
returing to Canada, Kraeden decided to take aim at his career more seriously and started writing lyrics and
composing beats with the keyboard he kept safely stored.
It wasn't long before Kraeden started producing beats, incorporating a hip-hop image. He wanted to be a dj and a rapper. In 2008, he released "Drama" and "Break the Silence", two songs written and composed by DJ Kraeden. After recording the two singles, he took a break and went back to the turntables, releasing "Edmonton Underground" and since then has had the intention of building future success as an aboriginal techno dj and hip-hop rapper.
