DJ Hook-a-Mama developed his musical tastes in Jamaica – listening to reggae music on the radio, living in one of the country’s most primordial breeding grounds for reggae. Around ’98, while record shopping at Imports, Etc., he met DJ Textor and a friendship began.

When Hook-a-Mama first started wandering from his passion for the love rhythems of Reggae into what grew into one of his trademark styles, Crazy & Wild Style!
