I couldn't be happier with what I do. Music has been a part of my life since as long as I can remember. I was always the little girl dancing to my dad's records. My dad listened to mostly 60's acid rock like Pink Floyd so that has had a big influence on the music that I chose to play. I am always trying to mix the old with the new. Retro remixes will always work into my sets, if they are done well. I love hearing a new take on an old song. I recently began producing to add to my ever growing music skills.
I've spun at many of the clubs around town including The Lounge every other Saturday and Club Underground every Tuesday night. I have made guest appearances at Envy, Foundation, Barfly, and many other downtown clubs in Minneapolis. I am a professional DJ in every since of the word. This is how I earn a living and over the past year I have made a few appearances across the US and Canada, most recently to my hometown of Austin, TX.
I am a Native of Texas and always looking for a reason to head home. I have made appearances at many of the clubs in Austin, such as Glass, Copa, SkyLounge, and Pure. I have no problems with anyone wanting to book me there. Really! Go ahead! I dare you. In fact discounts are always given for the hometown. I think you might like me....
Style: Progressive House - I like to "f*uck" the decks if you will.
Influences: Most of my musical influences include old acid rock from the 60's and 70's. I loved how that music pushed the envelope then and people could feel what they were listening to. The music I play now makes me feel that way. I have found that the electronic music of the 80's, like Depeche Mode, has influenced the sound the most. I love that stuff. Mixx these era's together and you get what the music I love.
