After moving to Seattle in 1997, me and my friends hosted elaborate parties at the dorm we lived at. We had lasers, smoke machines, and a loud sound system. Those were fun times- it was always about great music and cool people. That is when I purchased my first set of Stanton turntables, cheap mixer and started learning how to beat mach.
Sometime in 2002 or so, I was very lucky to meet Ramiro Gutierrez of Uniting Souls Music (www.unitingsouls.com). Ramiro was (and still is) in the center of the underground house movement on West Coast USA. Through him, I heard and often personally met many great artists such as Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, Johnny Fiasco, Marques Wyatt, Lisa Shaw, Jay-J, Andy Caldwell, Kaskade, Jason Hodges, Joey Joungman, Troydon, and many more. I have to say it was during that time my style was influenced the most.
